When Tom McDonald owner of Smiling Dog Landscapes www.SmilingDogLandscapes.com called me early morning on April 5th, 2011, I could tell by his voice inflection that he was excited to tell me something. Tom then related that one of his workers, Jon Lingen, had just arrived at work and told Tom that a Mountain Lion had chased a Bobcat through a nearby wash, across the road in front of him. The Bobcat made a frantic bee line for a tall Saguaro nearly 45 feet high, jumped on the side of it and quickly scaled the prickly plant all the way to the top.
Gold Canyon "Bob" came down, unhurt, a few hours later.
